About This Item
The DipaliZ Owls and Autumn Trees Enamel Camping Mug is a 12 oz outdoor mug in lightweight stainless steel with an enamel finish. The artwork sets owls among bare and turning trees, so the design is a scene rather than a pattern, which is what separates it from the plain leaf mugs in the same family. The mug is light, durable and made for outdoor use. Sublimation printed over a white base.

The story behind this design
An owl is a night bird and autumn trees are a daytime subject, so the drawing has to hold both: the trees are given warm turning colour while the owls sit still and dark within them. Because a mug wraps, the trees continue around the circumference and the owls appear at intervals, which rewards turning the cup in your hand. It is the most narrative of the three camping mugs in this range.
