About This Item
Pink roses on black, printed across both faces of a DipaliZ square cushion. The cover is 100% polyester with a concealed zipper, the insert is included, and four sizes are listed between 14 and 20 inches. Black grounds are unusual in floral cushions and they are what makes this one read as graphic rather than pretty.

The story behind this design
Against black, pink stops being soft. The roses here are painted at full strength with hard edges where the petals meet the ground, so the flowers appear lit from the front rather than sitting in a scene. Leaves are held back almost to silhouette. The result is closer to a still life photographed against velvet than to a garden study.
