The story behind this design
A candle printed with a diya is a small joke that works: the lamp on the label is lit by the flame inside the jar. The artwork keeps the diya low on the wrap so that as the wax burns down the two flames sit at roughly the same height. The palette stays warm throughout, clay and brass against an unlit ground, so the jar reads as festive even when the candle is out.
