The story behind this design

Shading in a glass is a better mechanic than writing a number, because it takes a second and it shows progress from across a room. The glasses are drawn at a decent size for that reason, tapered rather than cylindrical so they read as glasses at a glance. Everything else on the sheet is set narrow and quiet in a cool teal, so the chart is unambiguously the thing you look at first.
