The story behind this design

Flowers carry this cover on their own, with no shells, palms or horizon line to lean on. Broad tropical heads open face-on at the top and bottom edges and are drawn at a scale that would be too large for a repeat, which is exactly why the middle of the cover stays open. Coral, hibiscus pink and a warm cream keep it firmly in beach territory without any of the usual seaside props.
