The story behind this design
The flowers in this pattern are drawn small and set far apart, the way they grow in a real meadow rather than in a bouquet. Faded rose, straw yellow and sage repeat across the panel with no border and no obvious seam, and because the artwork is continuous the hem and sleeves fall mid-motif. It reads as a washed vintage cotton print from a distance and as individual stems up close.
