About This Item
This DipaliZ gift wrap is a satin-finish paper printed with blue hydrangea and pink roses in watercolor. Two sheet sizes are sold, 28 by 39 inches and 28 by 79 inches. The flowers are painted wet, so petal edges bleed into one another instead of holding a hard line. Baby showers, bridal showers and spring gifts are where this paper does its best work.

The story behind this design
Hydrangea is a gift to a watercolorist because it is already a mass of small overlapping shapes, which is exactly what happens naturally when wet paint meets wet paper. The roses were added for contrast: they hold a recognizable spiral where the hydrangea dissolves into texture. Blue and pink together could easily read as a nursery, so the tones were pulled toward dusty rather than saturated.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What sizes does this floral gift wrap come in?
A: Two sheet sizes, 28 by 39 inches and 28 by 79 inches.
Q: What is the paper finish?
A: Satin, which is the only finish on this DipaliZ listing.
Q: Which flowers are printed on it?
A: Blue hydrangea and pink roses, painted in watercolor so the petal edges run together.
Q: Is this suitable for a baby shower?
A: Yes. The dusty blue and pink watercolor palette is a common choice for baby and bridal showers, as well as for spring and Mother’s Day gifts.
Care
Keep the wrapping paper rolled rather than folded and store it somewhere dry, since damp softens paper and a crease shows through a finished parcel. Cut it against a straight edge for a clean line.
