The story behind this design
A banner hangs, twists in wind and is read from below, so this ghost is drawn as one tall vertical shape with its trailing edge left ragged rather than hemmed. The face sits high on the panel where it stays visible even when the bottom of the flag curls. Cold blue-white against a near-black sky is the whole scheme, chosen because a two-value design still reads at dusk when a busier one would disappear.
