Happy Diwali Diya Lamp
About This Item
The DipaliZ Happy Diwali Matte Banner with brass grommets is a printed vinyl banner showing a diya lamp. The banner uses 15 oz blockout scrim vinyl with a matte surface, and the grommets are brass. Two horizontal sizes are offered: 48" × 36" and 72" × 60". The brass grommets take a hook, a zip tie or a rope, so the banner hangs on a wall, a railing or a doorway frame.

The story behind this design
A single diya carries this banner. The flame is drawn with a warm core and a pale outer edge, the oil bowl beneath it in deep clay tones, and the background kept dark so the lamp does the lighting rather than competing with it. At 72 inches the flame is roughly head height on a hung banner, which is why the composition places it slightly above center rather than in the middle.

Q: Is this the same as the DipaliZ Laxmi feet banners?

Care
Wipe the banner clean with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, then let it dry fully before rolling or rehanging. Store the banner rolled rather than folded so the vinyl does not crease.
