The story behind this design
Be the Change is a phrase people already know, so the drawing does not try to illustrate it literally: butterflies carry the idea of small changes compounding into something larger. Keeping the lettering and the insects on a white base means the design reads on a dark laptop lid as well as a pale wall. At the largest size it works as a small piece of wall art rather than as a sticker.
Frequently asked questions
Q: Is this a paper sticker or vinyl?
A: It is a vinyl decal with a satin finish and a white base, not a paper sticker.
Q: What sizes does the decal come in?
A: Four sizes are listed: 3 by 4, 4 by 6, 6 by 8 and 8 by 10 inches.
Q: What does kiss-cut mean?
A: Kiss-cutting cuts the decal but leaves the backing sheet intact around it, so the sticker peels off cleanly without tearing.
Q: Can the decal be removed again?
A: Yes. The decal is listed as removable, and the vinyl is water resistant and scratch resistant in place.
Care
Apply the decal to a clean, dry, smooth surface and press from the centre outwards. The vinyl is water resistant but is not made for a dishwasher. Peel it off slowly if you want to remove it.
