DipaliZ Blue Bird on Yellow Throw Pillow Polyester Square

The DipaliZ Blue Bird Throw Pillow is a square cushion cover printed with an original bird illustration. The DipaliZ Blue Bird Throw Pillow cover is made from 100% spun polyester and prints the artwork on both faces. The design places a stylised blue bird against a warm yellow ground, using flat colour rather than realistic feather detail. The DipaliZ Blue Bird Throw Pillow suits a breakfast nook, a hallway bench or a living room that needs one warm, high-contrast accent. A concealed zipper allows the cover to be removed.

The story behind this design

Blue against yellow is about as much contrast as two colours can produce, and the artwork leans on that rather than on detail: the bird is built from a few simple shapes, and the yellow behind it is left completely open. Nothing is shaded, so the piece reads instantly from across a room and stays legible at the smallest cushion size. The mood is sunny and a little graphic, closer to a print poster than to a wildlife study.
