About This Item
Butterflies are the subject here, kiss-cut from white vinyl so each shape peels away from a backing sheet that stays intact. The finish is Satin, which keeps the wing colors readable without a mirror-like shine. Sizes go from 3" x 4" to 8" x 10".
The same artwork is printed at every size, so the wing detail scales up rather than being redrawn.

The story behind this design
Butterfly artwork usually fails on the wing edges, where a soft scalloped outline turns into a jagged cut. The shapes here were drawn with the cut line in mind, so the scallops are wide enough to survive being cut and peeled. The wing markings are kept to two tones, which is what lets the detail hold at the 3" x 4" size.
Frequently asked questions
Q: How many butterflies are on a sheet?
A: The sheet carries the butterfly artwork as supplied at the size you choose. Larger sizes give the design more room rather than adding more of it.
Q: What does kiss-cut mean here?
A: The vinyl is cut to the outline of the butterflies while the backing sheet stays whole, so each shape lifts off easily.
Q: Which sizes can I order?
A: 3" x 4", 4" x 6", 6" x 8" and 8" x 10".
Q: Can I move it after sticking it down?
A: The vinyl is removable and peels away without residue, though like any adhesive it holds best on its first application.
