DipaliZ Coffee Mug Coaster Heat Resistant Hardboard Mdf

The DipaliZ Coffee Mug Coaster is a hardboard drinks coaster with a genuine cork back, not a mug. The printed top carries a coffee and tea design under a high-gloss coating, with rounded corners. The surface is heat resistant and water repellent. One coaster is supplied per order.

The story behind this design

The artwork puts the drink on the coaster rather than around it: a mug and the vocabulary of a cafe menu, drawn so that the object and the thing it protects match. That closed loop is the joke, and it is why the design reads immediately at four inches across. Warm browns keep it closer to a cafe wall than to a kitchen scheme.

Frequently asked questions

Q: Is this a mug or a coaster?
A: This is a coaster. A coffee mug appears in the artwork, but the product itself is a hardboard drinks mat with a cork back.

Q: How many coasters are supplied?
A: One coaster is supplied per order.

Q: Can hot drinks stand on the coaster?
A: Yes. The gloss-coated top is recorded as heat resistant and water repellent, so a hot mug or a cold glass can both stand on it.

Q: How is the coaster cleaned?
A: Wipe the printed top with a damp cloth and dry it. Keep the cork back dry and do not submerge it.

Care

Wipe the printed surface with a damp cloth and dry it straight away. Keep the cork back dry. Do not soak the coaster and do not put it in a dishwasher.
