About This Item
The DipaliZ La Jolla Caves Canvas is a stretched canvas print of the sea caves and coves on the La Jolla coastline in California. The canvas is 100% polyester with a semi-glossy finish, stretched over a pine wood frame 1.5 inches deep, and hanging hardware is fitted before it ships. Five horizontal sizes run from 12 by 8 inches up to 36 by 24 inches. The piece suits coastal and seaside decorating schemes, and it needs no separate frame.

The story behind this design
The photograph looks along the cliff line where the rock is undercut into caves, with the water working at the base and cloud sitting low over the cove. The palette is coastal and slightly muted: sandstone and grey in the cliffs, green-blue in the water, and a warmer band where the light breaks through at the horizon. The mood is weathered and open, a working coastline rather than a beach postcard.
