About This Item
The DipaliZ Music Speaks poster is a cartoon print on 210 gsm satin poster paper, made in three sizes: 12 by 18 inches, 18 by 24 inches and 20 by 30 inches. The satin surface is low glare, which keeps the image readable on a wall that faces a window or sits under a ceiling light. The artwork pairs a cartoon monkey with the phrase Music Speaks. This poster suits a music room, a practice corner, a student flat or a gift for a player of any instrument.

The story behind this design
The monkey is drawn as a loose cartoon character rather than an anatomical animal, with expression carried almost entirely in the eyes and the tilt of the head. Music Speaks sits with the figure as a caption, so the words and the character read as one idea instead of a slogan pasted onto an illustration. The colour is warm and limited, and the satin paper suits it: flat cartoon fills look chalky on gloss and hold their weight on a satin surface.
