About This Item
A single red rose, drawn open rather than in bud, is kiss-cut from white vinyl on this decal. The Satin finish keeps the reds deep without the glare a gloss face would add. Sizes run 3" x 4", 4" x 6", 6" x 8" and 8" x 10".
At the largest size the decal works as wall decor rather than as a sticker, which is why the four sizes span so wide a range.

The story behind this design
An open rose gives a designer more to work with than a bud: the petals overlap, which means the shading does the drawing rather than the outline. Reds here go from near-black in the throat to a light pink at the outer edge, so the flower has depth without any line work. The leaves were kept small on purpose so the bloom is not competing with them.
