The story behind this design
Christmas cards divide into two camps, the hushed and the loud, and this one is unapologetically the second. The Merry Christmas lettering is set large against saturated festive color rather than the muted sage and cream that has taken over the category. Printing on matte stock is what keeps it from tipping into gaudiness: the finish absorbs rather than reflects, so strong color reads as rich instead of shiny.

Care
Keep the cards flat and dry until they are written. Write with a ballpoint or gel pen and allow a moment for the ink to set, as matte stock holds wet ink briefly.
