The story behind this design

Kraft paper has a warm brown cast that changes every color printed on it, and this artwork was drawn for that. The carrots are given extra saturation so they hold up against the brown, while the rabbit is left mostly unprinted so the paper itself becomes its fur. On the White bag the same design reads cooler and cleaner. It is one drawing that behaves like two.
