The story behind this design
The animals are painted at different scales and not to any consistent horizon, which is what gives the scene its picture-book logic rather than a naturalist's one. Greens and ochres carry most of it, with each animal picked out in a slightly warmer tone so it separates from the foliage. Space is deliberately left clear along the lower band for the name to sit.
