The story behind this design
Rudolf is set against a field of Christmas lights that runs right to the edge of the panel, which is what makes an all-over tote worth the extra printing. The reindeer sits high enough on the bag that he is not folded away when the tote is carried with a load in it, and the lights carry the pattern down into the lower third where a flat graphic would leave dead cloth.
