The story behind this design

This cover is built as a frame rather than a scene. Scallop shells, small whelks and curls of foam run continuously around all four edges, overlapping just enough that the border reads as one band instead of a row of separate objects, and the middle is left open so a name or a title could sit there. Seafoam green and sand carry the palette, with a deeper marine blue used only in the waves.

Frequently asked questions

Q: Are the pages ruled?
A: Yes. The DipaliZ Seaside Frame Spiral Notebook has ruled pages throughout.

Q: How is the notebook bound?
A: It is spiral bound along one edge, so the notebook opens flat and folds back on itself.

Q: Is there a size to choose?
A: No. This notebook is sold in a single size.

Q: How does this differ from the DipaliZ Seaside Shells notebook?
A: The layout is the difference. This cover uses the shells as a border running around the edge, leaving the center clear, while the Shells notebook scatters them across the whole cover.

Q: Is this notebook a good gift for someone who lives inland?
A: Yes. The border reads as a general coastal motif rather than a souvenir of one place, so it works as a summer or holiday keepsake anywhere.

Care

Keep the DipaliZ Seaside Frame Spiral Notebook out of damp bags and away from direct sunlight so the cover holds its color. Store it upright rather than under a stack, which keeps the spiral from bending.
