The monstera leaf is famous for its holes, which the plant grows to let wind and light through to the leaves below. Drawing them well means resisting the urge to make them decorative: real fenestrations follow the leaf veins and stop short of the edge. These do. Two greens are used, a deeper one for leaves sitting behind, which gives a flat sheet a sense of canopy depth.
