The story behind this design
Virgo is a harvest sign and the wheat sheaf, not the figure, is what carries that. The drawing lets the ears of grain fan out behind the maiden so they become the silhouette, which gives the label a vertical rhythm the animal signs cannot offer. The glyph's looping tail echoes the curve of the sheaf, so the two marks sit together without either one looking bolted on.

Care
Trim the wick before each burn and keep the flame away from drafts. Let the wax pool reach the edge of the jar on the first burn so the candle does not tunnel. Never leave a lit candle unattended, and stop burning once a small amount of wax is left in the base.
