The story behind this design
Warm Wishes for Christmas is a greeting-led design, so the lettering carries the piece and the ornament work sits behind it rather than competing with it. Frosted glass was the right ground for it: the etched-looking white surface reads like frost on a window, which suits a message about warmth seen from the cold side of the pane. It is a design meant to be handed over full rather than admired on a shelf.
Frequently asked questions
Q: How much does the frosted beer mug hold?
A: The DipaliZ frosted glass beer mug holds 16 oz and is made in that one size.
Q: Is this glass mug dishwasher safe?
A: Yes. This mug is listed as both dishwasher safe and microwave safe.
Q: Is this a ceramic mug?
A: No. This is a frosted glass beer mug with a handle, not ceramic. DipaliZ sells the same Christmas artwork on ceramic mugs as a separate listing.
Q: What does the frosted finish do to the artwork?
A: The frosted finish gives the glass an opaque, matte surface, so the printed Christmas artwork sits on a soft white ground instead of on clear glass.
Care
Dishwasher safe on a normal cycle. Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as pouring boiling liquid into a chilled mug, and skip abrasive scourers so the printed surface keeps its finish.
