About This Item
This DipaliZ gift wrap is a satin-finish paper printed with snowflakes on a light blue ground. Two sheet sizes are sold, 28 by 39 inches and 28 by 79 inches. The design carries no Christmas symbols, only snow, so the sheet works for a December birthday or a winter wedding as readily as for a present under a tree. Light blue keeps it calm rather than festive.

The story behind this design
Snow is white, and white on a pale blue sheet is almost nothing at all, which is the constraint this design works inside. The flakes are therefore drawn at two weights: a fine white line for the structure and a slightly deeper blue behind it for the shadow, so each one has an edge without any outline being visible. The result reads as frost on a window rather than as printed decoration.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What sizes does this gift wrap come in?
A: Two sheet sizes, 28 by 39 inches and 28 by 79 inches. You choose one at checkout.
Q: What color is this wrapping paper?
A: A light blue ground with white and deeper blue snowflakes printed over it.
Q: Is it specifically a Christmas paper?
A: No. The design carries snowflakes and no Christmas symbols, so it suits winter birthdays and winter weddings as well as Christmas gifts.
Q: How does it differ from the DipaliZ penguin wrapping paper?
A: This one is snowflakes alone on light blue. The penguin wrap adds penguin characters to a snowflake ground and is aimed more at children.
Care
Keep the wrapping paper rolled rather than folded and store it somewhere dry, because damp softens paper and a fold line shows through a finished parcel. Cut it against a straight edge for a clean edge.
