About This Item
The DipaliZ Botanical Fern Acrylic Standee is a free-standing acrylic piece for a desk, shelf or windowsill. The artwork is a fern frond drawn in fine line work, with a line of text set alongside it, and the customer types that text on the product page, so the wording in the photographs is a sample. The standee is listed in one size. The clear acrylic lets the fern read as though it were pressed between panes of glass.

The story behind this design
A fern is the right plant for a standee because its silhouette is almost entirely edge, so on clear acrylic it survives having the background removed. The frond is drawn as an open outline rather than filled, which keeps the piece light enough to sit in front of a window without blocking it. The lettering runs vertically up the side so the plant stays the subject and the words stay a caption.

Care
Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Acrylic scratches more readily than glass, so avoid paper towels, abrasives and solvent-based cleaners, and keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight.
