About This Item
This DipaliZ sweatshirt is an all-over print crewneck scattered with Christmas snowflakes, in 86% polyester and 14% cotton. The high polyester content is deliberate: sublimation ink bonds to synthetic fiber, which is what allows the snowflakes to run over the sleeves and the seams instead of stopping at a printed panel. Six sizes are listed, XS through 2XL, in a regular unisex fit. Snowflakes rather than Santas keeps the sweatshirt wearable through January, after the rest of the Christmas clothing has gone back in the drawer.

The story behind this design
Snowflakes are drawn at three or four scales and spread unevenly, so some crowd together and others sit alone, which is how falling snow actually looks and what stops the pattern reading as wallpaper. Each flake is individually built rather than repeated from one shape. The palette is cold and narrow, white and pale blue against a deeper ground, with no red or green anywhere.
