About This Item
This DipaliZ ornament is a round ceramic Christmas ball measuring 2.5 by 3 inches, listed in two designs: Bells and Tree. Ceramic gives the ball real weight in the hand, which is the difference between a keepsake ornament and a disposable bauble, and it holds printed color with a depth that thin plastic does not. One size is offered and the shape is round. Choosing between the two designs is the only decision: bells for a ring of brass-toned shapes, or a tree for the classic motif. It suits a tree built up over years from individual pieces.

The story behind this design
The two designs were drawn as a pair, which is why they share a palette of warm gold, deep green and a muted red. The Bells version groups three bells with a ribbon through their loops; the Tree version is a single decorated tree set centrally in the round field. Both are drawn with thicker outlines than the acrylic and glass ornaments in the range, because a ceramic ball curves away from the eye and a fine line would be lost on the sides.

Care
Wipe the ceramic with a soft damp cloth and dry it. Wrap it individually for storage, since ceramic chips if ornaments knock together in a box.
