About This Item
This DipaliZ ornament is a beveled clear glass decoration printed with a decorated Christmas tree among falling snowflakes. The beveled edge catches light along the rim, which is the practical reason to choose glass over acrylic on a lit tree. Five quantities are listed, from a single piece up to fifty, and the ornament comes in one round size. The design is the tree and the snow alone, with no buildings or figures, so a set of them reads as a repeating motif rather than as a scene. It suits a monochrome or single-design tree, a mantelpiece garland, or a wreath.

The story behind this design
Here the tree is given the whole circle to itself, baubles reading as flat discs of red and gold on dark needles, with snowflakes drawn at two scales so some sit close and some far behind. There is no ground line and no horizon, which leaves the tree floating in the snow. It is the simplest of the DipaliZ glass ornament designs and the one that repeats best across a tree.
