The story behind this design
Autumn drinks are the most reliable shorthand there is for the season changing, which is why the artwork puts the cups at the centre and lets the leaves stay in the background. The palette runs through the browns and burnt oranges that a hot chocolate and a spiced latte actually are, rather than the primary orange that most autumn decor reaches for. It is a cushion designed to still look sensible in November.
