Because the print wraps the whole bag, the pattern was drawn with no top or bottom, so it still reads correctly however the tote is carried or folded. Motifs are spaced widely enough that the boxed corners do not chop a shape in half at the seam. The palette keeps to two or three inks so the pattern stays graphic at arm's length and does not turn to noise when the bag is full and creased.
