The story behind this design
Adding a moon changes the whole balance of a ridge print, because the eye now has a fixed point and reads the mountains as receding from it. The moon is placed off-centre and slightly low, tucked into the notch between two peaks rather than floating clear, which is what stops it looking like a logo. On the paler colourways the disc is left as unprinted shirt, so the garment colour itself becomes the moonlight.
