The story behind this design
At 2 inches a symbol has to survive being tiny, which rules out thin strokes and gradients that muddy when scaled down. The infinity band here is drawn at an even weight with flat color blocks meeting cleanly, so the loop still reads as a loop on a laptop corner. The glossy surface keeps the spectrum saturated rather than chalky, which matters for a design whose whole content is color.
