The story behind this design

Everything here is drawn with a rounded corner: the lamps have no points, the flames are teardrops rather than spikes, and even the type is set in a soft geometric face. Color is pushed toward pastel rather than the saturated marigold and indigo of the formal cards, which is the main reason this one reads as friendly. A thin dotted border is the only straight-edged element on the card.

Frequently asked questions

Q: Is the greeting personalised?
A: Yes. Your own text is entered on the product page; the message in the photographs is a sample.

Q: What sizes can I choose?
A: Four vertical sizes: 3.5 by 4.9, 4.25 by 5.5, 4.6 by 6.25 and 5 by 7 inches.

Q: Is this card suitable for children to give?
A: Yes. This is the cute version of the DipaliZ Diwali range, drawn in a soft, rounded style rather than the formal rangoli or mandala treatments.

Care

Store flat and dry. Matte and uncoated stocks are the easiest for a child to write on without smudging.
