The story behind this design

Math on a notebook cover usually means a wall of equations, which is a bleak thing to hand a student. Here the symbols are painted in loose watercolor instead: a pi, a summation sign, a compass arc, a triangle, each floated separately with soft edges and plenty of white space between them. The palette is teal, plum and ink blue, brushy rather than ruled. It reads as a subject someone might actually enjoy rather than a warning about homework.

Frequently asked questions

Q: How is this notebook personalized?
A: You enter the student's name on the product page before ordering. The name shown in the photographs is a sample.

Q: Are the pages ruled or squared?
A: Ruled. The pages are lined rather than graph squared, so this is a notes and working-out book rather than a graphing pad.

Q: Is there a size to choose?
A: No. This notebook is sold in a single size.

Q: What age is this notebook aimed at?
A: The cover suits any age studying math, from middle school through college, since the symbols are decorative rather than tied to one syllabus.

Q: Would this work as a teacher gift?
A: Yes. A math teacher's own name on the cover makes it a straightforward end-of-term gift, and the ruled pages are useful for lesson planning.

Care

Keep the DipaliZ Personalized Math Spiral Notebook dry and out of direct sunlight so the watercolor tones stay clean. Store it upright in a bag rather than flat under books, which protects the spiral, and check the name on screen before ordering.
