The story behind this design
Black stripes taper and fork against white exactly as they do on an animal, widening at the haunch and narrowing to points. The spacing is irregular, which is what keeps a two-color print from looking mechanical. Because the stripes follow the leg rather than cutting across it, the pattern lengthens the line instead of breaking it.
