About This Item
This DipaliZ puzzle is a Thanksgiving jigsaw puzzle printed with an original turkey illustration. The pieces are 100% chipboard and the box is 100% paper. Three sizes are offered rather than one: 120 pieces at 10 by 8 inches, 252 pieces at 14 by 11 inches, and 500 pieces at 20 by 16 inches. The smaller counts suit children and a short after-dinner sitting, while the 500-piece version is the one to spread across a table for the afternoon. The puzzle works as a Thanksgiving host gift or a quiet activity while the oven does its work.

The story behind this design
The turkey is drawn as the guest of honour rather than the meal, plumage fanned out and every tail feather given its own pattern, which is exactly the kind of detail a jigsaw rewards. Autumn browns, cranberry reds and corn yellows fill the background so that no two regions of the puzzle look alike under lamplight. The mood is festive and slightly theatrical, a Thanksgiving card scene stretched to table size.

Care
Keep the pieces dry and build on a clean, flat surface. Chipboard swells if it gets damp, so wipe up spills before they reach the table. Store the puzzle flat in its box.
