The story behind this design

The lights are the reason this design exists separately from the plain Rudolf sweatshirts in the range. A loop of bulbs runs around and behind the reindeer, which gives the figure a frame and lets the artwork spread wider across the chest than a reindeer on his own would. Each bulb is a different color, so the design carries far more of the palette than the two-tone versions do.
