Virgo is an earth sign, so the maiden here is drawn holding wheat rather than posed as an allegory: the sheaf is the subject, heavy in her arm with the grain heads bowing over. Her profile is reduced to a few confident strokes. The glyph closes the composition at the base with its loop crossing back on itself. Olive and a dry wheat gold set the palette, which is why Olive is offered as a shirt colour.
