About This Item
The DipaliZ alphabet baby blanket is a printed fleece blanket carrying the full A to Z. The blanket is made in one size, 30 inches by 40 inches, on a white fleece base. Each letter is drawn in a soft pastel and spaced so it can be picked out and pointed at. Nurseries, playrooms and ABC-minded grandparents are the natural home for this one.

The story behind this design
An alphabet blanket has to be legible before it is pretty, so the letters here are drawn with open counters and plain strokes rather than as decorative initials. They are set in rows, which gives a toddler an order to follow. Rotating pastels through the sequence stops any one letter shouting and keeps the whole face even.
Frequently asked questions
Q: Does the blanket show the whole alphabet?
A: Yes. The DipaliZ alphabet baby blanket carries all twenty-six letters, A through Z, laid out in pastel across the face.
Q: What size and material is it?
A: This DipaliZ blanket is fleece, with a white base, and is made in one size: 30 inches by 40 inches.
Q: Is this useful once the baby is older?
A: The letters give a toddler something to point at and name, so the DipaliZ alphabet blanket keeps being used past the newborn months.
Q: Is it a good baby shower gift if the name is not known yet?
A: Yes. Nothing on this DipaliZ blanket is gendered or named, so it can be bought before a birth without guessing.
