The story behind this design

The stalks are drawn with the segment joints left visible and the leaves angled as if caught mid-breeze, so the cover has movement without any color noise. Two greens carry the whole thing, a deep pine for the stems and a paler sage for the foliage, against a warm off-white ground. Space is left empty across the lower third, which is where the calm of the design actually comes from.
