The story behind this design
The pattern was drawn as a single tessellation, so no diamond ends mid-shape at the edge of the bed. Three blues carry the design: a dark indigo for the outlines, a mid blue for the fills, and chalk white for the gaps that keep it from going heavy. Seen from the doorway the blues merge into one tone, and the individual diamonds only separate as you come closer.
