The story behind this design
The flowers are painted loosely and scattered rather than set in a repeat, with enough plain ground between them that the blanket still reads as calm when it is folded over the arm of a chair. Blush and soft coral carry the blooms, with sage foliage beneath, and the largest flowers are placed toward the corners so they survive being draped.
