The story behind this design
Putting the words inside a ring of flowers rather than above them borrows from a seed packet, where the name of the plant always sits in a reserved shape. The flowers are cottage-garden staples drawn small and loose, cosmos and scabious and a few daisies, so no one bloom dominates the ring. Everything outside the ring is left plain, which is what makes the two words legible from across a desk.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What does the cover say?
A: My Notes, set inside a ring of garden flowers.
Q: Are the pages ruled?
A: Yes. The DipaliZ floral garden journal is ruled throughout.
Q: Can I write my own name on it?
A: The printed wording is My Notes, so there is no name printed on the cover. Any name you want to add would be written on by hand.
Q: Would this suit a gardener?
A: It is sold as a garden journal and planner, and the ruled pages take sowing dates and planting notes as readily as anything else.
