The story behind this design
Vines are the one floral motif that genuinely has no top or bottom, which makes them ideal for a square nobody will orient carefully. The stems here loop back on themselves rather than running in one direction, and the flowers are kept small so the linework carries the design. Rolled into a headband, it still reads as a continuous pattern rather than a cut-off picture.
