The story behind this design
The car is drawn in motion blur while the towers behind it stay razor sharp, which inverts the usual city-at-speed image and makes the buildings feel permanent. Cool blues and electric highlights do most of the work, so the piece reads best on the Navy and Black grounds where the lights have somewhere dark to sit. On Sport Grey the same drawing turns overcast and slightly noir.
