The story behind this design
This design asks what a flower looks like if you are only allowed straight lines, and the answer turns out to be surprisingly convincing. Petals become facets, stems become stems at angles, and the repeat locks together without gaps. It reads as a folk pattern from a distance and as a drawing exercise up close.
