The story behind this design
Hearts and snowflakes is a calculated pairing: a snowflake is cold geometry and a heart is warm shorthand, and putting them together makes a label that belongs to the whole stretch from December to February rather than to one week of it. Both motifs are also radial and roughly the same size, so the pattern reads evenly around a jar with neither shape dominating.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What is on the label?
A: Hearts and snowflakes together, wrapped around the glass jar.
Q: How many scents are offered?
A: Ten, from Clean Cotton and Christmas Warmth to Peppered Passionfruit, plus an unscented option.
Q: What size is the candle?
A: 9 oz, in a glass jar.
Q: Is this a Christmas or a Valentine's candle?
A: Both, which is the point of the design. Snowflakes carry it through winter and the hearts carry it into February.
Care
Trim the wick before each burn, allow a full melt pool on the first lighting, and retire the jar once about half an inch of wax is left.
