The story behind this design
Iced cookies are drawn well or not at all, and the difference is almost entirely in the icing. Piped lines on a real cookie sit proud of the surface and catch light on one side, so here every iced line carries a thin lighter edge along its upper side. It is a small trick and it is what stops the cookies reading as flat printed shapes rather than as things you could pick up.

A: Pink gingerbread cookies and Christmas trees, with the icing drawn to catch light along its upper edge.

Care
Keep the wrapping paper rolled rather than folded and store it somewhere dry, because damp softens paper and a fold line shows through a finished parcel. Cut it against a straight edge.
