The story behind this design
The wave is drawn as a single curl with a flat horizon line behind it, which reads as the sea from a distance and as an abstract shape up close. Because grey concrete and white are both pale, the artwork is printed in a mid-tone blue that survives on those and on black. Nothing is outlined.
